Olaniyi Kolawole Owoyomi, with over 40 years in the engineering industry, is an experienced Electrical Engineer with a diverse portfolio of projects and expertise in Asset Management Systems within the Oil and Gas Industry. He is the Chairman and Managing Director of ABAOWA Integrated and Engineering Services Ltd. He is known for his strategic direction, operations management, and policy formulation. His focus on integrated service delivery and team management has contributed to the company's success.
Olaniyi has built a skilled team through specialized training programs, including a consultancy on Explosive Atmosphere Areas. He has also led projects such as designing services for the Interdenominational Church for the Lagos State Government and managing the Power Supply System design at the Network Exploration and Production Facility in Ibeno, Akwa Ibom.
From 2010 to 2019, Olaniyi served as a Senior Electrical Engineer at Frontier Oil Exploration & Production Co Ltd, leading electrical design projects for the UQUO Gas Plant. He also worked as a Project Engineer at Shell Nigeria Exploration & Production Co Ltd, leading projects such as UPS system redesign and electrical fire investigation. He also served as Head of Electrical Maintenance at Shell Petroleum Development Co. of Nigeria, managing procurement, updating specifications, and leading major maintenance projects.
His extensive experience, leadership, and dedication to excellence continue to drive ABAOWA Integrated and Engineering Services Ltd towards new heights.
Patrick serves as the Executive and Engineering Services Director at ABAOWA Integrated and Engineering Services Ltd, bringing a wealth of expertise in facilities engineering. As a seasoned Process and Facility Engineer, he has successfully overseen a wide array of oil and gas projects, including pipeline design, facility installation, commissioning, and operations. With over 36 years of industry experience, Patrick is renowned for his profound knowledge of oil and gas regulatory and commercial procedures.
Throughout his illustrious career, Patrick has demonstrated exceptional leadership in marginal field development, project engineering, facilities management, operations readiness, and process engineering. His consultancy work on refinery feasibility studies further underscores his comprehensive skill set.
He has played a pivotal role in leading field development projects at prestigious organizations such as Hilltop Global Oil & Gas Solutions Int’l Ltd, Frontier Oil Ltd, Stork Teco Ltd, Frazimex Engineering Ltd, and Shell Petroleum Development Company Ltd.
His extensive experience and strategic insights continue to drive ABAOWA Integrated and Engineering Services Ltd towards excellence in the oil and gas sector.
